Company recognized by MSHA for second consecutive year
MAY 30, 2016 (HOUSTON) – Shale Support, LLC, a leading provider of frac-sands and logistical solutions to the oil and gas proppant market, announces that is has earned a MSHA Certificate of Achievement in Safety from the Mine Safety and Health Administration, a division of the US Department of Labor. This is the second consecutive year that Shale Support has maintained an incident-free record.
“We are proud to be recognized again as one of the safest operating mines amongst our peers,” said Jeff Bartlam, co-founder and president, Shale Support. “The MSHA Certificate of Safety Achievement demonstrates more than just our commitment to the health and safety of our employees, but that we truly value our people and we want nothing more than to see them return home safely.

Certificates of Achievement in Safety are awarded to participating operations that have met the entire certificate criteria set out by the Mine Safety and Health Administration. The award recognizes mine operators who have a proven accident-free record during the previous calendar year.
