Shale Support, LLC, a leading provider of frac-sands and logistical solutions to the oil and gas proppant market, announces that is has received the Sentinels of Safety Award from the National Mining Association (NMA) during the annual Mine Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Each year, the NMA presents Sentinels of Safety awards to the nation’s safest mines, which must have a minimum of 4,000 injury-free hours to be considered. The awards were initiated in 1925, by then Commerce Secretary Herbert Hoover. Shale Support is one of only 20 US companies to receive the honor this year.
