Members of Shale Support along with other local Picayune community leaders and officials, recently broke ground on a future 5,000-square-foot community center located off Beech Street in Picayune.
Shale Support will serve as the lead contributing private funding source for this project and will also provide engineering, design and architectural services in addition to funding.
The center will serve as a local meeting place offering a wide variety of education, social and recreational activities such as after school programs, exercise classes and lectures. The center will include a 73’ x 35’ event room, a 30’ x 12’ activity room and a 12’ x 25’ conference room and is scheduled to open fall 2019.
