Jeff Bartlam is co-founder and serves as president of Shale Support, LLC. Mr. Bartlam is a graduate of the University of Virginia and has held senior leadership positions in investment banking and technology organizations. His proven history of successful management and financial transaction services has helped to lead the company in securing over $200 million in financing to build and develop the company.
S. KEVIN BOWEN
Kevin Bowen, co-founder and CEO of Shale Support Holdings, LLC has over 20 years of business development and operational experience. Bowen has developed and shaped the vision of Shale Support Holdings, LLC, assembling and leading the team needed to achieve the vision of a vertically integrated logistical company, geared towards supporting the emerging shale oil and gas markets from concept to reality, in just two short years.
Marc Distefano joined Shale Support as the executive vice president in 2018. Prior to joining Shale Support, Marc served in several executive management roles within the offshore construction and fabrication industry. Before transitioning to the private sector, Marc was an officer in the United States Army for over 12 years, where he served as a Company Commander in the First Cavalry Division in Iraq. Marc was commissioned from the United States Military Academy where he also taught Systems Engineering prior to transitioning from the military in 2010.
Shane Summers serves as vice president of logistics for Shale Support Holdings, LLC where he oversees all aspects of the logistics department, ensuring that all services are in line with the organization’s policies, procedures and business goals. Summers previously worked as a logistics/terminal manager, director of rail logistics and survey engineer/regional manager for major energy and technology corporations. In addition to his professional experience, he is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy, aviation ordinance.
Lee Hullman serves as Vice President of Business Development for Shale Support Holdings, LLC where he assists in the company’s overall strategic planning and initiatives.
Prior to joining the organization, Hullman held multiple positions of increasing responsibility within marketing, sales and logistics for a Class I railroad. Most recently, he was responsible for business development efforts for Texas and Oklahoma, with an emphasis in the oil and gas industry.
CHARLES R. CASWELL
Charles R. Caswell has served as chief financial officer of Shale Support Holdings, LLC since 2013. He has more than 23 years of professional experience with progressive responsibilities in senior corporate finance and accounting positions. Prior to joining the organization, Caswell held the position of treasurer/vice president of finance for an energy services corporation.
Scottie Bayman joined the Shale Support operations team in January of 2013 and currently serves as director of quality control, responsible for maintaining over watch and retention sampling of all fracturing sand products throughout their lifetime. Under Bayman’s leadership, the Shale Support quality control program holds an impressive record of not having one rail car or purchase order refused by a customer for quality control issues.
Keith Tubandt joined Shale Support, LLC in 2018 as vice president of production management. In this role, Keith oversees all production for the organization. This includes the daily production, process improvements at both the wet and dry plants, overseeing the capital improvements for new product lines to the company and the preventative maintenance program to optimize the plant’s overall production availability.
